Coenzyme Q 10 by PharmaLogics (24507 bytes)CoQ 10

Natrol*

CoQ10  creates 95% of the cellular energy used by the body.  That makes it a critical nutrient for organs such as the liver, kidneys, spleen, pancreas, and especially the heart.  These organs require vast amounts of energy and high levels of CoQ10 to function properly.*

The heart has the highest concentration of Coenzyme Q10 of any organ in the human body and is very sensitive to changing CoQ10 levels.  Heart function can be adversely affected when CoQ10 levels fall below normal.  By increasing the pumping strength of the heart, CoQ10 helps enhance the amount of blood that flows through it with every beat.

There are two sources for CoQ10 -- food and the body's own production, which takes place primarily in the liver.  Poor nutrition can lead to low CoQ10 levels.  In addition, as we age, the body's ability to naturally synthesize CoQ10 decreases, and CoQ10 levels drop.  An average 20-year-old, for example, has twice the CoQ10 levels of a 70-year-old.

To get just 60 mg of CoQ10 from food, you would need to consume nearly 4½ pounds of meat, 7½ pounds of nuts, or 13 pounds of spinach or broccoli daily.  Or, you could just take one or two 60 mg capsules of Coenzyme Q10 each day.

Directions: Take 1 capsule daily follow the advice of your Health Care Professional.
