Tip
of the Week
Are you looking to build muscles? A personal trainer may help.
Not everyone can afford full-time workout supervision, but a few sessions with a personal trainer may point you toward greater strength gains. A new study shows that people who worked for 12 weeks with a personal trainer during weight-training sessions experienced greater improvements in strength than people who trained on their own.
Strong, flexible muscles can protect you from injury. Strength training also can help you manage your weight, improve your balance, and reduce your risk of age-related chronic diseases, such as osteoporosis and arthritis.
