Want to stay healthy?  Try developing your powers of positive thinking.

Having a positive mental outlook might actually help you feel better physically.  In a recent study, people who reported themselves as being highly optimistic also reported experiencing fewer health-related physical symptoms.

An optimistic outlook can reduce stress levels, and stress has been shown to accelerate the aging process and inhibit healing.  A Mayo Clinic study reveals a correlation between optimism and longevity.  Whether stress is causing your illness or not, how well your body fights illness may be determined in part by your outlook.
